CASEY GERMAIN

BASS

Praised for his commanding stage presence and rich vocal artistry, bass Casey Germain continues to captivate audiences across a wide range of repertoire.

At Opera North’s 2025 Summer Festival, brought striking versatility to three very different roles: the dignified King in Rachel Portman’s The Little Prince, the scheming Don Bartolo in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, and the hearty Innkeeper in Man of La Mancha.

Recent appearances include Abimelech and The Old Hebrew in Saint-Saëns’ Samson et Dalila with West Bay Opera, Count Rodolfo in Bellini’s La Sonnambula (West Bay Opera), the title role in Vivaldi’s Montezuma with Opera Neo, and Juan Perón in Corpus Evita (West Bay Opera). He has also performed with Finger Lakes Opera, Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, Bel Cantanti Opera, the University of Maryland Opera Studio, and the New England Conservatory, spanning repertoire from the Baroque to bel canto and contemporary works.

A graduate of the New England Conservatory (BM) and the University of Maryland (MM in Opera), Germain is recognized for performances that fuse vocal power with theatrical nuance and a natural gift for storytelling.

Casey Germain is not only an accomplished operatic bass but also a distinctive solo artist with a powerful creative voice. Beyond the opera stage, he channels his artistry into writing and performing original music that showcases his depth, honesty, and individuality.
